Accreditation

Embry-Riddle is regionally accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) to award degrees at the associate's, bachelor's, and master's levels. SACS was founded in 1895 and is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. Its central purpose is to foster improvement in educational quality and assure the public that member institutions meet established standards for student learning and support. SACS currently accredits over 13,000 schools and school systems in the United States and overseas through a process that depends on continuous improvement as demonstrated by an established cycle of annual reports and periodic evaluations.
