Get Involved On Campus

The Department of Student Engagement proudly supports over 120 diverse student organizations. We have academic and professional groups, service groups, social and hobby groups, spiritual and cultural groups, and an array of other miscellaneous groups. All groups are created, organized and run by the students and open to the campus community. Our groups provide a lot of ways our students can get involved outside of their academics, whether they would like to be entertained and have fun or want to build their skills.

Here is a sample of just a few clubs and organizations waiting for you at Embry-Riddle Prescott Campus:

The Airline Pilots Association Aviation Collegiate Education (ALPA ACE) Club is dedicated to enhancing the culture of professionalism and safety at Embry-Riddle Prescott. ACE Club members are recognized as student leaders who have a desire to better the airline pilot profession and be example flight students both on and off the fight line.

The Alternative Energy Association (AEA) promotes the use of renewable energy on campus and in the surrounding community, and strives to combat the ever-growing issue of climate change and irresponsible energy use through education, conservation and action.

The purpose of the Black Student Union (BSU) is to provide a supportive community filled with understanding, lasting friendships and culture to the students at Embry-Riddle. As members of the BSA, we will be unified through education and celebration of the contributions to the STEM field made by historical black figures. Members will also have the opportunity to meet new people on campus through various fun-filled activities, contribute to honest conversations on current events and have a vast group of students on campus who will advocate for them.

The Center for Diversity & Inclusion is committed to a welcoming, inclusive and supportive campus climate for women, people of color and the LGBTQ community.

Eagle Eye is an analytic intelligence wire prepared by Embry-Riddle students. Members will develop analytic and research skills essential in today's Intelligence Community while learning about the world around them.

From team sports to intramural activities and sports clubs, Eagle Athletics represents the very best that Embry-Riddle has to offer. Here students develop the skills — physical, social and intellectual — necessary for success.

The International Students Association (ISA) works to increase culture by hosting events that provide cultural enhancement and a space for students from all over the world to help each other feel at home on campus.

Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Drum Line, Choir — anyone is welcome!

Women pilots from the surrounding Yavapai area are invited to join the Yavapai Chapter. We sponsor aeronautical events and FAA seminars, and actively promote aviation safety throughout Arizona.

The Pride Network seeks to inspire school spirit and unity, promote academic excellence, and provide programs, resources, outreach and advocacy to promote an open, safe and inclusive space on campus for the LGBTQ community.

It really is Rocket Science! The Rocket Development League (RDL) provides knowledge and opportunities to empower students interested in rocketry to do what no university student usually gets to do. Students looking to supplement their education can become better engineers by involving themselves with rocketry-related projects within the organization that contribute to our major goals.

The Student Government Association (SGA) is responsible for maintaining communication between the students, faculty, staff and administration. The SGA is a student governing resource for voicing concerns and suggestions.

The Student Veterans Organization is a group of college-based military veterans and supporters dedicated to supporting active duty military, veterans and their families.

The Weather Club is an academic organization with a passion for meteorology and the outdoors. We as a club believe that the best way to experience the weather in Arizona is to get outside, explore and have hands-on opportunities such as launching weather balloons and tracking storms.

Women in Aviation International is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation career fields and interests. Our 10,000-plus membership includes astronauts, corporate pilots, maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers, business owners, educators, journalists, flight attendants, high school and university students, air show performers, airport managers and many others.
